The question of ‘What is the best dianabol cycle?’ should not be too hard to answer, however, as with all decisions and choices when it comes to anabolic steroids there are several factors that must be taken into account, and this is no different with Dianabol. Let’s assume you’ve found dianabol for sale, have made your purchase and have the Dianabol sitting in front of you – what next? First of all you must decide whether you are going to take your Dianabol with any other anabolic steroids or whether you are going to take it alone; as you will no doubt be bulking the choices of steroids you could use are numerous and we will discuss this in greater length below. This choice will impact upon how long the duration of your cycle is and what dosage you will be using and is obviously something that must be paid attention to. Once you have chosen which route you are going to take then it is absolutely vital that a proper training and nutrition regime is in place to maximise your gains – this will be discussed later on the in the article. Before we delve into what other anabolics could be taken alongside Dianabol and how to get the most from your course, let us look at a standalone cycle.
Can Dianabol be taken alone?
This must be one of the most asked steroid-based questions, and certainly the most asked dianabol cycle question! If you have researched this before using Google, online steroid encyclopaedias and forums then I am sure you will have heard (or read) a resounding ‘no’ as an answer to this question. However, the actual answer is ‘yes’, you can run a dianabol only cycle and yes, you can make permanent gains from it (this goes back to the correct training and nutrition regime as mentioned above). The main reason given to stop people from taking dianabol by itself is usually because ‘the gains are all water and you’ll lose it all post cycle’. Whilst Dianabol will cause a large amount of water retention, it must be remembered that is a very potent androgenic and anabolic steroid that was designed to build muscle and strength rapidly, so will therefore induce the growth of lean muscle mass if training intensity/volume is high enough to stimulate enough muscle break down and enough protein and calories are consumed to repair (and increase the size of the) muscle. So assuming both of these elements are in place, what is the best dianabol dosage?
The dosage amount will depend largely upon your current body size/weight and your previous anabolic steroid experience. It is impossible to give very specific answers to this as everyone is different and therefore we’d need a lot of answers, however we can break the amount of dianabol required for your cycle into several categories depending on the above variables (these are guidelines and do not constitute medial advice).
- 150lbs-170lbs (no steroid experience): 20-30mg per day for 4-5 weeks
- 170lbs – 190lbs (no steroid experience): 25-35mg per day for 4-6 weeks
- 190lbs+ (no steroid experience): 30-40mg per day for 4-6 weeks
- 150lbs-170lbs (some steroid experience): 30-45mg per day for 4-6 weeks
- 170lbs-190lbs (some steroid experience):35-50mg per day for 4-6 weeks
- 190lbs+ (some steroid experience): 40-60mg per day for 4-6 weeks
Beyond this, i.e. steroid users who either have vast experience and/or are extremely heavy, it is entirely down to the user and I have personally seen doses f up to 200mg per day being taken for many weeks. I would never advise this of course, but once you go way beyond your genetic limit the amount of drug(s) you require to grow rapidly is rather substantial.
Stacking Dianabol with other steroids
When adding another compound or compounds to your dianabol cycle there are many options available. For the purposes of this section we will assume that you have are the right position to take several steroid in conjunction with each other. As we have already mentioned, 99% of the time Dianabol is used for bulking cycles, therefore we have a plethora of bulking anabolics that complement it to induce even greater gains. When thinking about what other steroids there are we must look in the direction of injectables as these are the bread and butter of any steroid cycle and can be used for lengthy periods of time (far longer than orals) due to the fact they impact upon liver health far less. Obviously, the number one choice is testosterone, and using dianabol as a kickstart for the first 4 to 5 weeks of a cycle has been done for decades as it allows you increase body mass and strength before the testosterone has reached peak and even levels in your bloodstream (providing you are using a long-estered version such an enanthate or cypionate). This would always be my starting point for those looking to do a first or second bulking cycle that includes both injectables and orals. Something along the following lines can be used at a reference point (if doing a 10 week cycle):
- Weeks 1-4: Testosterone 300mg-500mg per week + Dianabol 30-40mg per day
- Weeks 5-10: Testosterone 300mg-500mg per week
Alternatively, some people prefer to put the oral in for the last four weeks, so you’d simply take dianabol for weeks 7-10 instead of 1-4.
Beyond that there are other steroid that could be added to the Dianabol and testosterone to make even more of a potent bulking cycle. Deca Durabolin, despite the fact that I would never advise its use (I will cover why in another article), is an extremely popular bulking anabolic and will work synergistically with both compounds to help promote even more gains. Other compounds that could also be implemented are trenbolone, masteron or equipoise, although some steroidal experience under your belt would be required for sure.
Can you stack Dianabol with other orals?
Most people reading the above question are probably be amazed that is even being asked, but in the real world a dianabol cycle can involve other orals – you just have to know what you’re doing, keep an eye on every health marker and of course lower the dosages of each compound. So what are the options? For bulking anadrol or turinabol could be used; for strength anadrol or anavar; and for ‘recomping’ anavar or winstrol. For example:
- Bulking cycle: Dianabol 20mg + Anadrol 25mg per day for 4-6 weeks
- Recomping cycle: Dianabol 25mg + Turinabol 40mg per day for 4-6 weeks
- Strength cycle: Dianabol 20mg + Anavar 50mg per day for 4-6weeks
I would never advise someone to do any of the above unless they are extremely experienced, but they are options for those who need extra bang for their buck who can’t inject steroids for whatever reason.
How to train and eat during your Dianabol cycle?
These two elements are by far away the most important aspects of any cycle and bodybuilding in general. Without these at the optimum level (or as close to optimum as you can achieve) then your gains will suffer. When taking dianabol the goal will of course be bulking, therefor an excess in calories will be needed alongside high protein intake (although what I will advise will probably not be as high as some of you would imagine). The standard macronutrient split is 40:40:20 of carbohydrates, protein and fat, although this can be altered to whatever suits you and your body best. When it comes to bulking I would always advise having no less than 35% carbs as you will grow much quicker. But what amount of calories should be eaten when taking dianabol?
- Calories: 21 x bodyweight in lbs – e.g. 150lbs x 22 = 3150
- Protein: 1-1.2 x bodyweight in lbs – e.g. 150lb x 1 / 1.5 = 150g – 180g protein per day
To conclude, regardless of which d ball steroids cycle you decide to do, the results from it should be more than modest and potentially extremely substantial if you ensure everything is absolutely dialled in!
